Cai’s debut album ‘Seren’ was released on 27 March and already it has made a great impression on the digital playlists.
His debut single, the Welsh lullaby Suo-Gan, has scored the #1 spot on Apple Music’s Classical Chill playlist across worldwide audiences including North America, Japan and China. It is also featured on Spotify’s Classical New Releases playlist, alongside the album’s lead single ‘Only in Sleep’ by the Latvian Eriks Esenvalds. ‘Only in Sleep’ has proved a huge hit across in North America and the UK and is picking up an impressive number of streams.
The Karl Jenkins’ duet ‘Ave Verum’ with 16-year-old Norwegian baritone Aksel Rykkvin has come in at #5 on AppleMusic’s Meditation Moments playlist.
